When you set some booking rules for rooms on your site, such as a minimum stay of 3 nights, no check-in on Mondays, no check-out on Fridays, etc., guests can see the corresponding reminders in the expanded calendar when selecting the check-in and check-out dates in the room booking form.
However, by default, these booking rules are only displayed in the calendar of the room booking form, not in the room search form.
In the 1.7 version update of the theme, we added a new feature: if a booking rule-set is applied to “All Rooms“, the administrator can decide whether to display this rule set in all room search forms on the website.
- When editing a booking rule-set, find the “Apply this rule-set to” option, select “All Rooms“.
- A new option will appear: “Show this rule-set on all room search forms?” Tick the checkbox, and click “Save Changes“.
After that, refresh the page and view the room search forms on the website. When selecting the check-in/check-out date, you will see the corresponding prompt information in the calendar and the corresponding dates will become unavailable for selection.
