How to create a new room:
- On your website dashboard, please navigate to Rooms > Add New.
- Enter a title for the room.
- In the text editor below the room title, you can add some text and images to introduce the room. Alternatively, you can use Elementor to edit the main content of the room.
- This is optional: Below the text editor, you will find the Excerpt box. This is a short summary of the room that will be displayed in the Room List. If Excerpt is empty, WordPress automatically creates an excerpt using the first 55 words of the post.
- Below Excerpt box, you will find Room Settings. We will introduce each setting in this tutorial: Single Room Basic Settings.
- Featured Image – On the right side of the page, you will find the Featured Image option. Please upload an image or select one from the Media Library and set it as the featured image of the room. It will be used as the cover/top image on the single room page, as well as the room’s thumbnail in the Rooms List. So please don’t leave it blank.
