When importing certain demos, social media icons are included in the site header or footer. After importing the demo, you will need to modify the links to these icons, or remove and add the icons. In this video, we will show you how to edit these icons.<\/p>

  1. On your website dashboard, please navigate to “Appearance<\/strong> > Menus<\/strong>“.<\/li>
  2. In the “Edit Menus<\/strong>” tab, select the “Social Menu” to edit.<\/li>
  3. Now you can edit the menu items. You can expand each menu item to edit the URL<\/strong> and Label<\/strong>, drag and drop to reorder, or delete any item.<\/li>
  4. To add new social icons, please use “Custom Links<\/strong>” in the left sidebar. Enter the link of your social media site. And you can also enter some text into “Link Text” field, it’s optional, and you can enter any text here. Just need to enter a correct URL. Click “Add to Menu<\/strong>” button.<\/li>
  5. Check “Open link in a new tab<\/strong>” if you want social icon links to open in a new tab when clicked. If you can\u2019t find the option, it is most likely hidden by default. Please scroll up to the top of the screen, and click the “Screen Options<\/strong>“, then make sure the “Link Target<\/strong>” box is checked.<\/li>
  6. Save the changes. Refresh the page, and you will see that both the social icons in the header and footer have been updated on the page.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    In the above tutorial, we assume that you have already imported a demo, and the social menu (as a part of the demo data) has also been imported, so you just need to modify the items in the social menu according to the above tutorial, no need to create a social menu from scratch.<\/p>\n

    But if you didn’t import demo, then you need to create and set up your social menu manually.<\/p>\n
