Importing a demo to your site is optional for using CozyStay theme. It is for easy start –\u00a0when you have a fresh WordPress installation<\/strong>, you can import some dummy content and predesigned layouts & styles to your site, then you can replace with your own content, and tweak some layouts and colors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To import the demo content, please make sure you have installed the recommended plugin\u00a0One Click Demo Import<\/strong>, and please also install and activate all other recommended plugins (you can deactivate the unnecessary plugins later).<\/p>

After installing CozyStay theme and required\/recommended plugins, refresh the page, you will see\u00a0Import Demo Data<\/strong>\u00a0under\u00a0Appearance<\/strong>\u00a0in the left sidebar. Click it, then you will see the available demos. Choose one demo, click on the\u00a0Import<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/p>

It can take a couple of minutes, please wait.<\/p>

It happens rarely, but if you have issues while importing a demo, please check the documentation\u00a0Import Issues<\/a>\u00a0written by the author of the plugin\u00a0One Click Demo Import<\/strong>\u00a0(which we are using for demo importing feature in the theme).<\/p>

Error: Internal Server Error (500)<\/strong><\/p>

If you see this error message after clicking on import button, this usually indicates a poor server configuration, usually on a cheap shared hosting (low values for PHP settings, missing PHP modules, and so on). Please see\u00a0this article<\/a>\u00a0to know how to fix it.<\/p>

Alternatively, you can provide us with the following information so that our developer can check that for you:<\/p>

  1. Your website URL.<\/li>
  2. Your website login information. You can use\u00a0this plugin<\/a>\u00a0to create a Temporary Login Without Password.<\/li>
  3. Which demo you’d like to import, so that we can help you import the demo.<\/li>
  4. Your (or a temporary) FTP account, so that we can check the error log on your website.<\/li>
  5.
